Want a pick-me-up read? This is the perfect book for that "feel good" feeling. The neighborhood pitches in to build a garden on a vacant lot and the neighbors get to know each other in the hustle and bustle of the busy city. This book made me want to do something to get to know those who are just passerbys. This is a great book to build community in a classroom.
